Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids Society

Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids was established as a lunch program in 1990 under the name of the Brown Bagging for Calgary Street Kids Society. Following recent findings by the Feeding Calgary's Children Initiative - that almost 30,000 children and youth in Calgary go hungry while in school - the mandate has changed to include all children and youth, whether on the streets or in school.
BB4CK was created in partnership with the Calgary Board of Education to combat increasing numbers of youth attending Calgary schools without a lunch. We currently deliver over 1500 brown bag lunches to 60+ different schools daily.
